Stop thinking small here. Structuralism cares not for particulars, but for universals. If you give a structuralist a sentence, they are looking at the universal structures of language that dominate it (like the grammar and syntax). If you give a structuralist a story, they are looking at the patterns of narratives or characters or symbols that dominate it.

Some structuralist models are incredibly famous, like Freytag's pyramid. Campbell's monomyth is an emerging giant and dominates popular culture as well; Rick and Morty famously uses that structure for their shows.
